Chris Hall and YouTuber Francis Cade finish the 107 for 107 at the Flanders sportive in Belgium

Cyclist Chris Hall completes the 107 for 107

Back in December, while most of us were enjoying Christmas party season and hunting for excuses to dodge those winter rides, Chris Hall set out on a mission to cycle 107km every day for 107 days.
He knew it was a massive challenge, the biggest he'd ever taken on. But nothing quite prepared him for the reality of what the next three months would have in store.

Food poisoning, punctures, mechanicals, snow, fog, a full-blown storm, 5am alarm clocks,  8+ hour days of work sandwiched between a relentless sea of dark mornings and dark evenings on the bike - this was Chris' world.
But through the ups (all 55km of them) and downs, he always had an unwavering determination to reach that finish line.

What Chris hadn't banked on was just how much support he would gather to drive him to the end.
What started with the company of a few close friends soon extended to handfuls of strangers offering wheels to sit on, homemade treats and kind words of encouragement.
None of us appreciate how far Chris' story would spread. On Day 103, we put a message out asking the local cycling community to come join Chris for his regular morning laps at London's Regent Park. More than 60 cyclists turned up to ride, a much-needed boost in that last week.
Chris' story soon picked up coverage on the likes of Road.cc, Cyclist and the national news
We've been documenting Chris' journey with the help of cycling YouTuber Francis Cade. Francis joined Chris out in Belgium as he completed his final day at the Flanders Sportive.

It's hard not to be moved by Chris' reaction when his ELEMNT officially ticked over at the 107km mark. The man is an utter legend, and the lengths he's willing to go to get recognition for a worthy cause is truly admirable.
Watch what happened on Day 107 here: (warning, it's a bit sweary in parts)
