Let's be honest, cycling in the colder seasons can feel like a bit of a chore. But it doesn't have to be. We believe the key to enjoying riding at this time of year is being prepared. It's why we've devoted the past four years to developing a cold weather range that gives you the tools to take on whatever those stubborn months have in store. Combining everything we know about comfort and fit with the best technical fabrics around, this range of carefully-considered pieces is made to protect you against the elements, so you can continue enjoying the sport you love all year round.

  • Water and wind-resistant super soft thermal tights
  • Durable Water Repellent (DWR) coating
  • High waisted and fleece lined to keep your core warm
  • Made with our signature Cytech women’s endurance chamois pad
  • Double-layered knee panels specially designed to move effortlessly with your natural riding motion and keep your joints warm
  • Reflective Flare leg strips made from innovative Flare fabric. These strips appear black in natural daylight, but when a beam of light hits them - BAM - the glow is unmissable, giving you extra visibility to other road users
  • Reflective 'Attacus' rear logo for added visibility on the road
  • Minimal flatlock seams for maximum comfort
  • Silicone ankle grippers that’ll keep your tights in place without the discomfortable of rigid zips
  • Tailor-cut for cyclists so you’re comfortable and have full protection against the elements when you’re in a riding position
  • 100% pre-dyed so they'll stay crisp black even when stretched, and after seasons of washes
  • All of our women's garments are designed, tested and tailored by a team of experienced female cyclists and clothing experts, including our own Attacus co-founder, so you can trust you're buying products developed specifically for female-focused comfort and fit
  • All fabric: 85% polyamide, 15% spandex
  • Made in Italy

Want to keep your water-repellent cycling kit in tip top shape so that it keeps you drier for longer? We recommend regularly washing and treating it with Nikwax Tech Wash and TX.Direct

IDEAL FOR: Autumn, winter and spring riding

                The Foundation chamois pad

Never underestimate the importance of a good chamois. It could literally make or break your ride.

At Attacus, we’ve always believed that the key to any good piece of cycling clothing is one that feels as comfortable and supportive after 24 hours as it does after just one. It’s why all of our Foundation shorts and bib shorts are fitted with our custom women's Foundation chamois pads - a top of the range endurance-focused pad developed to deliver all-day support.

Designed in collaboration with one of the world’s leading chamois manufacturers, Cytech Elastic Interface, this pad is the culmination of months of research and testing led by female riders, including our own Co-Founder and Head of Women’s Product Development. Designed to relieve common female pelvic pressure points which we identified can cause discomfort on longer rides, the pad is constructed from fine layers of high density foam which provide lasting cushioned support. It’s what makes the shorts perfect for epic adventures, as well as shorter days on the road. Meanwhile its neutral, single width not only offers a more anatomical fit, but makes it compatible with virtually any saddle.

It's this commitment to comfort that means our shorts and tights are now trusted by female athletes who have taken on some of the world's toughest tests of endurance - including the entire route of the Tour de France.

Made from recycled materials, this eco-friendly pad is also woven together with yarns that have antibacterial properties, providing better protection for multi day activities. It’s even perforated to speed drying times.

Seriously, it’s a dream to sit on.

                Size Guide

The technical fabrics in our bib tights are designed for movement, and will naturally stretch. It's why you may find you fit into more than one size bracket. So to help you find the best fit for you, we recommend you follow the steps below.

                HOW TO MEASURE UP
                1. Start by measuring your waist and hips all the way around, using the diagram above as a guide. Then use these numbers to see which size options you fall into from our size chart below.
                2. Use the leg length number to work out how each size will fit on you, and make sure you're happy with the length.
                3. Consider how you want your kit to fit. Do you like it quite close fitting? Or prefer it a little looser? Make sure your chosen size reflects how you like to wear it.

While we do our best to accurately display the true colours of our garments in all photography on our website, sometimes the actual colour may vary in real life. This is because every computer/phone monitor has a different capability to display colours, and that everyone sees these colours differently.

All of our garments are made with high quality technical fabrics which, with a bit of TLC, have been designed to last you many seasons of riding.

Machine wash on a low spin with similar colours at no higher than 30°C (86°F). Use non-biological detergent only and avoid fabric softeners and bleach.

Close all clasps and fastenings on your cycle kit – and any other garments mixed in with your kit – when washing. Velcro closures and clasps can catch on stitching and damage your garments.

Do not tumble dry. Hang up and leave to dry naturally away from direct sunlight to prevent wear.
