What our customers say
"I’ve ridden in Foundation Jerseys across Australia, Vietnam and the American desert, washing them in sinks for 30 days in a row and stuffing them in bike bags - they can definitely take a beating! They’re cut properly so the pockets don't sag, they feel great on and there’s nice bold colour choices. The arms stay in place without the need for grippers, too."It’s just a simple, well designed piece of kit that’s not over-engineered, and that's why it works."Francis Cade: Former elite cyclist, bike adventurer and Attacus ambassador

Foundation Bib Shorts
We’ve honed every aspect of the Foundation Bib Shorts to deliver lasting comfort. They’re made with a premium technical material that offers just the right amount of stretch and compressive support. And the Foundation chamois pad is designed to provide long-lasting pelvic support and relieve common saddle pressure points which can cause discomfort - especially on longer rides.
What our customers say
"I've been using the Foundation Bib Shorts for two years now, and have ridden around 24,000 miles in them in that time.
"Leading up to competing in the Transatlantic Way Race, I needed a pair of shorts that not only provided all-day comfort, but could withstand the abuse multi-day racing would throw at them. Having trained in these shorts prior to the race, I wasn't surprised that I didn't suffer a single issue during the seven days’ racing. But what did surprise me was how immaculate they looked afterwards. I took two pairs away with me, but left one pair in my bag the whole time. Two years later, I still wear the pair I raced in - albeit after numerous washes!
"The fit is particularly fantastic. It should be a staple when you buy a pair of bib shorts, however I've had numerous pairs from other brands that just don't fit well and can be uncomfortable. Probably the biggest compliment I can give the Foundation shorts is that once on, I never have to think about them.
"I'm currently planning my approach to the Transcontinental Race, and I take massive comfort knowing that I don't need to think about my core kit in any detail other than the colour combination I'm going to wear!"

The Foundation Chamois Pad
Foundation Vest
Clothing keeps us warm by trapping warm air next to our skin. But when you’re on a bike travelling at speed, the force from any cold air or wind can obliterate that warmth you’ve built up. It’s why a reliable, thin, packable windproof layer is such a useful piece of kit to have of your cycling armour.
“Whether you call it a vest or a gilet, this packable windproof layer is a godsend for spring and autumn when temperatures can fluctuate from hour to hour. The front is made with a lightweight, windproof fabric which contains a membrane barrier that repels cold air and water, while allowing warm air to continue circulating around your core. The back is made of a lightweight stretch mesh which helps with pocket access as well as ventilation. It’s a great piece of kit to stick in your jersey pocket and call on when the temperature drops.”
Jimmi Nicholls, Co-Founder and Product Developer at Attacus
"I've been using an Attacus Windproof Vest for around 3 years now, having bought the original Dagger Vest in 2017.
It's the perfect compliment to already outstanding kit - very light and easily packed, comfortable but most importantly, warm and excellent at taking the sting out of a cold breeze or descent. The especially like the latest addition of the yellow windproof vest as it's highly visible; a real plus point for me given the amount of time I spend on the road."Alex Hill: Ultra-distance cyclist and Attacus kit tester who completed the UK's First Double Everesting

Foundation Base Layer
“Made from a lightweight, stretchy mesh that draws excess moisture away from the skin and aids heat regulation, this lightweight base layer is perfect for mild and warm weather riding. It's been tailored to be close fitting, with minimal seams, so that it feels both comfortable and discreet under your jersey. The length on this base layer has also been specifically cut to sit at the same height as our jerseys, in order to avoid visible bunching that can often happen when your base layer is tucked into bib shorts.”Emily Childs, Managing Director and Product Developer at Attacus
