Attacus x Zwift Social Ride Series
Power up your turbo trainers and kit up, it's time to go riding.
Last year we saw an awesome turnout for our first Attacus Social Ride Series. Now, with most of us stuck indoors for the foreseeable, we've decided to bring our latest Social Ride Series to Zwift for 2020.
Come and join us for the usual chilled spin and chin wag on this series of 'no drop' virtual rides. Places on each event are limited by Zwift to 100 riders, so check out our ride calendar below and follow the links to sign up for a spot.
We might not be able to finish at the pub in our usual fashion, but we still encourage ending in traditional Attacus social ride style – with a pizza and maybe even a cheeky beer if you fancy it.

FRIDAY MAY 15TH
Start time 8AM UK time
Course Watopia Tempus Fugit
Duration 45mins
Details Wake up the legs and join us for some chat laps on this super flat course. Officially the ride will last 45 minutes, but if you're jumping in with us pre-work feel free to bail early if needs be.
Pace As fast or slow as you like. This will be a 'no-drop' ride. So as long as you're pedalling, you'll stay with the group.
SATURDAY MAY 16TH - 100 MILER WITH THE INTERNATIONELLES
Start time 11AM UK time
Course Watopia Tempus Fugit
Duration 100 miles (approx 5 hours)
Details We're handing the reins over to the awesome InternationElles cycling team for this group ride, as they're organising a get together of epic proportions. Join InternationElles ride leader Louise, along with the rest of the team, and tick off a century on Zwift on this nice flat course. Want to watch along live? Make sure you're following @InternationElles on Instagram for some Insta live action throughout.

WEDNESDAY MAY 20TH

Course Watopia Tick Tock
Duration 60mins
Details Power up your turbos and bring your best banter as we embark on this 60 minute social spin. We've picked a nice flat route, so it's perfect whether you're after a recovery ride or fancy having a bit of a blast.
Pace As fast or slow as you like. This will be a 'no-drop' ride. So as long as you're pedalling, you'll stay with the group.
SUNDAY MAY 24TH - THE HILLY ONE
Start time 9.10AM UK time
Course Watopia Big Loop
Duration 42.6km, 661m elevation
Details This ride will be a little different to our usual format. Instead of riding for a set duration, we'll be riding together to complete a course. The course we've chosen is Watopia's epic Big Loop, which starts with a short, flat lead-in to the route’s biggest climb, the Epic KOM, before hitting the Jungle Circuit then heading around the volcano back towards the finish line. It's a great route that provides a bit of a challenge while still (hopefully) being enjoyable and giving us time to have a chat on the easier sections.

THURSDAY MAY 28TH

Duration 60mins
